The hotel is comfortable and modern.

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several issues. The room was quite cold, making it difficult to relax after a long day in the chilly Kiruna climate. I also encountered significant delays with service at the bar, leaving me hungry on New Year's Eve. Finally, I found the common areas, particularly the bathrooms, in need of more attention to cleanliness.

The breakfast spread impressed me—pancakes for the kids, fresh bread, and delicious smoked salmon. The room included a cozy bunk bed setup for the kids, allowing for a perfect family experience. The sauna added a touch of relaxation after a long day, even though it was co-ed and a bit crowded during peak times. However, check-in took too long. I arrived late, and there was no one at the desk. I had to wait for assistance and then faced a billing issue despite my prepaid reservation. On the bright side, they resolved it quickly the next day. The nearby Thai restaurant and the bar offered nice dining options, but service at the bar could have been more attentive, as I waited a while after finishing my meal without any follow-up. Also, construction around the hotel was somewhat distracting during the stay.

We had a memorable time exploring Kiruna's snowy landscapes, especially with my granddaughter enjoying the sledding. The cozy room made our stay easy, and the delicious pizza was a hit for dinner. The hotel even let us check in early, which was a nice touch.

My wife says that the heating could be better for the cold Kiruna nights.
